the one minute mystic
How to use the meditations

1. Find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed.

2. Read through the whole meditation a few times, then put it down.

3. Sit in a position both comfortable and alert.

4. Allow the meditation 10 minutes or so in your imagination. Do not give up before this time; stay with it.

5. Allow another 10 minutes for recording what happened. Allow events to develop as you record.
  MEDITATION 25
THE TEASPOON OF SALT

We are people easily knocked off course.

We are those who can be upset by a single remark.

Or find ourselves overwhelmed by an event.

Or consumed by a particular worry.

We find the salt of experience too, well – salty. And we don't always cope very well.

Imagine

It is said that if you put a teaspoon of salt water in a glass of water, it has a great effect.

But that if you put the same teaspoon of salt in a jug of water – it has less effect.

And if you put it in a lake of water, it has no effect at all – the size and capacity of the lake absorbing the salt easily.

What is the present salt for you?

And are you glass, jug or lake?

And is there anything to be done?
